Honestly, the stuff with Edgeshot was better than I expected. The fact he isn't immediately sacrificing himself, which allows us to invest in Edgeshot's sacrifice also makes it more worthwhile.

Honestly, fuck Back U Go. That theory would make this revival ten times worse. I can at least appreciate actually seeing the heroes put their bodies on the line to save Bakugo as opposed to him being cheaply revived by some deus ex machina. This isn't a deus ex machina because it was not an instant solution to the problem and is occurring as part of natural plot progression as opposed to being a simple fix.
