What do you guys think Asura is? What's the source?

Is it some form of haki? Something to do with cursed swords? A manifestation of Zoro's spirit? Something else entirely?

With the new revelation that you can use CoC to cancel out CoO (or whatever the fuck Shanks does) it’s probably another application of CoC that we know nothing about

Spirit Manifestation or smthn

A bloodline ability wouldn’t make sense, armament and observation wouldn’t make sense either

It’s either CoC or Oda straight up won’t explain it lol

What is your opinion?

I voted for Haoshoku and spirit.

Per Rayleigh, Haoshoku is a user's very spirit made manifest.

Furthermore, Zoro showed advanced forms of haki preskip:

• Kenbunshoku: he knew where the rocks wouldn't fall
  • Future sight?
• Busoshoku: he could "hear the breath of all things" and obtained the power to not cut leaves but cut steel
  • Ryuo
• Haoshoku: Asura?
  • Kaku said that he created Asura with his "spirit"

It’s definitely interesting though… if it ends up being another branch of CoC then that means CoC is more than armament v2 or a fodder sweeper

As far as we know no one other than Shanks can straight up negate observation haki either

Certain CoC abilities may be unique to each user

This would be kinda unfair considering it’s an ability you have to be born with but it would make things MUCH more interesting

Asura is the final form. I doubt it has anything to do with CoC.

I think its his version of spirit/CoC
Feels pretty unique to him

That's why I love Zoro so much he's a very technique based fighter.

Like shishi sonson helps his speed go through the roof or sword clearance help him move in the air

When Zoro fully masters adv CoC (get better at it)

I can't wait for a improved version of Ashura

Spirit. You might as well say Haki, depending on how broadly you use the term Haki. Oden's Haki being sensed inside Enma for example, doesn't refer to a specific color, but can be used synonymously with ambition or will. So in a sense, Asura could be the manifestation of Zoro's Haki, which you can use interchangeably with will/ambition.
