Being stronger than sanji is the threshold for getting rival portrayal with Luffy. With Koby being a hero and paralleling Garp, he's going to get rival portrayal, meaning he's at least going to be above Sanji.
Again & again & again, he parallels Garp as much as Luffy parallels Rayleigh for training him.
Garp is his mentor, he ain't gonna surpass him because of that reason alone - he simply wants to be an Admiral, not the next Garp.
Garp was a rival and a fight to the Pirate King, Koby is a fanboy - there's a difference.
Kinda slow aren’t you ?
no fire based attack is hurting king
On the other hand sanji isn’t invulnerable to fire
king is plus his durability
It’s an extreme diff going ether way and I’m leaning towards king
Indeed, narrative... plus consistency, because they wouldn't just remain unhurt without the narrative layer. Soft flesh can be hurt. Blackbeard protects his human flesh. Simple as that. In other words, you want Oda to write Teach taking a slash that hurts his human flesh without protection or what?
I'm not talking about Zoro, I'm talking about Sanji and Jinbe
Kid at least got better portrayal than the latter two, with him fighting a yonko(same yonko that negged queen).

Lmaoo talk about an actual speed reader
Exoskeleton Sanji was bleeding from getting ragdolled in the wall
Where as Raid Suit was durable enough to save him from getting smashed into a building
Raid suit is far far far more durable.
Really feel like I am talking to a 10 year old right now lol
So Luffy finally beating Kaido after 200 power ups when Zoro did 90% of the work is meant to be impressive?
Zoro can solo Kaido right now.
Luffy can't do that.
