he knew what he was doing..his priority should be stopping the ball not the players who can still chase it.
Again his feet were already moving in that direction before the ball was even shot. Standard GK procedure.

He didn't tackle Alvarez. His leg was planted and Alvarez ran him over.

This isn't some sliding tackle by a defender it's a GK doing his job, might as well remove the keeper if he's not allowed to stand his ground.

explained well here..
And that's the price the Keeper had to pay for guessing wrong that ahead.
The contact wasn't deliberate at all, yes. But the contact was still there and that's primarily because the keeper had his leg sticking out -a natural position, yes- but still which stonewalled the player.
And that's what matters at the end.

also not every defender goes deliberately for the leg of opposing player, yet they get penalized with Yellow and Red cards. same logic here.

It's like when a player tackles late and there is a contact with a player and not the ball that makes him lose his balance, no intention of committing a foul but it's a foul nonetheless.
The goalkeeper didn't touch the ball and block Alvarez's way to the ball with his leg. It's a clear penalty.

actually if Morocco gets past France, it might be even more difficult to stop them than France. Still hoping for them to win though.
Thing is Morocco never played finals so they would be under huge pressure

France will come out with more confidence and has better team as well...

Also, France being out in Semis means Messi haters would get more nervous for the finals 😅

one man's solid is another man's trash

they barely managed to beat algeria (2-1 extra time) and france (1-0). back in the group stages they were extremely lucky to get a 2-2 draw against ghana (and a smashing 1-0 victory against the true football giants - the USA). in all those games the german NT were mediocrity personified.
Highly disagree.
I think you intentionally forgot to write about how they won right the first game against Portugal 4-0?

Algeria and France were really good in that world cup, Algeria was a bit like Morocco and France went on to make it to the final of Euro 2016 and winning world cup 2018. In the match against USA Germany was holding back intentionally because Klinsmann was the coach of the US team btw.
