That'd be dope but I doubt it.

We didn't get a CSM section with like 32 people asking for it and the thread having constantly a page or two of discussions with each new chapter.
Instead you got 4 seperate forum sections for the winners of this Yonko game, that have been almost unused since 3 days after the winners were announced and have now been abandoned completely.
The emote drawer is still an unordered mess but there are 11 different forum skins.
Talk about priorities

Mangas like MHA have their own section and it's dry af in their. They also gotta hit the bucket and make space for the stuff people are actually discussing.

Cool thread question:-

Will Sakamoto remain fat at EoS ?

His character could go two different ways tbh. Theirs reasoning for him to stay in his fat form and show his retirement and its ok to be the way you are. Or he goes skinny form and shows that its not good to be lazy and unhealthy like pre-series Sakamoto was.

With the way Sakamoto hates being called out on his weight and everyone calling him lazy and unhealthy....he could become slim EoS. But then we have the Old Healer set-up and telling him to accept the body that he has. Theirs also the fact that skinny MCs are more generic....and keeping the MC fat even by EoS is more original.

Idk it could go either way. I'd prefer if he becomes fully permenantly slim at one point, but I dont think that will happen.

I'm leaning on fat, as things stand now:
- His family dynamic (especially with his daughter) is more pronounced with a stoic but kind fat dad
- The potential for fight comedy is greater
- The irony of Slur losing to a fatass would be great

All in all, I don't have a horse in the race. Whichever version is the final one is fine by me.

My question is more to do with EoS....like by the last chapter of the series. Does he end with being fat or slim.

Though I do realise that for the majority of the series he will remain fat....and I do prefer that tbh as well. Makes him more unique.

Oh, I meant last stretch of chapters, sorry

Last chapter definetly fat. I don't see the assassin job surviving EoS so he'll be free to live in peace with his fam. As fat as he pleases

He has to master his fat form and find ways to use his body like when he was on the tower with Apart. He doesn't seem like he has too many problems when he's big-- he's not out of breath or slow or anything like that, so he should just accept it.

Embracing his size is like rejecting the JAA methods and standards and just doing his own thing. I don't think he should try to stay skinny.

Yeah those are useless lmao.

It'd be neat to organize them properly and introduce the new sections. I mean there is an entire section for Demon Slayer that has fewer messages than this thread alone..

The CSM thread has more messages than 3 of those sections, DS, JJBA, and Berserk and it's going to reach and go past the 4th one too really soon. It already has more if we count the anime thread.

BC and MHA should be ending soon so there might be some changes, I hope.

As I said , they don't care about this forum.

To go back on topic.

Do you guys think Slur used to be fat lol?

What's got me thinking is his dialogue in the JAA arc.

First he says he tossed out his picture because he looked bad in it

Then he says he feels nervous, and Gaku starts talking about new haircuts, thus imo indicating a physical change.
It would make sense that Slur now wants to showcase his new physique and be nervous about it cuz they remember him as fat.

Again, it's stated he's feeling nervous

What's more, the first thing Uda asks him when he sees him is if he lost weight
which imo is also a clue that he used to be at least overweight or something.

Then he teases Sakamoto about how he became porky while grinning, as in saying, look at us now, totally different, you are fat and I have peak physique.

Which is imo also the reason why he wants to delete his old self, and go by a new name and identity

It would also make sense imo, cuz as a student he left no impression or anything, thus probably wasn't gifted or in shape.

And it'd be a nice parallel with Sakamoto. Sakamoto who was the best, the peak, got lazy, fat, slow, out of shape, while Uzuki, who was fat, out of shape, etc, got ripped, in shape, hit the peak physique, etc.

I think it'd be a fun little detail.

I don't put too much stock into this though, just think it's something that can be a fun parallel.

Yh I really like this idea. I wonder how he got trained tho....who put him in shape.

Yeah that's a good question. Imo he either did it by himself, I mean he attended the JCC so he got the notes I guess on what to do and so on. Or a more interesting option imo would be that there is a JAA higher up, deep-rooted member, who picked him up, trained him and guided him, and could serve as the actual big bad, if Uzuki isn't that. Like he wanted to remain in the JAA and destroy it from the inside while Uzuki does the dirty public work and is the front face of the entire thing, while the other person operates from the shadows.

Yh I could see that. Could be the conspirators Yotsumaru was after...
