As story progresses Shanks would look even more pathetic compared to Mihawk than he already does. As if there could have been any bigger slap in the face to every Yonkoturd by Oda when Oda showed that he sees Mihawk as so far above Yonko that even when Mihawk is working "under yonko" Mihawk is still known as the biggest threat.

Zoro is 100% irrelevant in my discussion as to whether or not shanks has better overall haki than mihawk who has better swordsmanship and sword related haki.

Go reread my baseball analogy, mihawk only uses haki in ways that relate to swordfighting, shanks is more well rounded in his implementation of haki meaning he uses it more ways and isn't just a swordsman.

You are clearly the one that doesn't understand the argument.
Mihawk is the strongest swordsman = out of all swordsman he is the strongest.
Your argument about Shanks using something else is why Zoro was brought into the discussion to show you that having something else doesn't stop your from being a swordsman and therefore you remain weaker than the strongest swordsman.
You do realize people are allowed to bring their own points into a discussion to counter yours, right? They don't have to get permission from you to do so.

3 questions

1. How is Shanks the swordsman stronger than the strongest swordsman Mihawk?

2. Ryuma and Brook had the exact same skillset yet Brooke got crushed. How did Ryuma win?

3. Zoro has fought numerous swordsmen that flat out dropped their swords and used other abilities, yet were still swordsman and lost. Is Shanks alone an exception?

Gotta explain how swordsman Shanks gets to be the sole exception.
