The Second Selection is more Squid Gamey, and so far I like it.

The first stage warmed them up for the real deal - the 3 vs 3 matches where scoring 5 goals first wins you the match and another egoist

The Glamurous guy with Itoshi Rin seems interesting kinda. I like the ...ORE...gag, and with his hairstyle and demeanor he gives me Vanilla Ice (ffrom Jojo) vibes

Rin is boring af as a character. Him and the guy that's all scared but then gets pumped up all of a sudden might be my least favorite tropes in anime. Too bad that, from the way things stand now, this arc will focus heavily on them.

What happens now to Isagi and Nagi? For some reason, even though he lost again, I feel Nagi will want to stay with Isagi. Maybe Reo will join them for their next 3 v 3? Or maybe even Kuon?

All in all, good to have BL back!

Well, that makes them egocentric ain't it? Arrogant and self-centered attitude is what makes Rin and Barou stands out as players. As they're the ideal "ego" soccer players according to Jinpachi.

And iirc, the translations in the manga was different than the anime. For example, instead of "glam", it was "styl" or something like that for Aryu.

For Rin, it wasn't "half-baked" but it was something else (I forgot).
