I'm even sure that Vegapunk decided to make "cosplay" ROCKS. I imagine how he saw this in the newspaper about ROCKS and decided to also make a team of smart guys and epically name his gang.

You think both are recall moments yet the 1st one is the only valid one?
Fact of the matter is, Luffy outclassed Lucci massively when he wanted to/could, and Oda referenced that by having him one shot Lucci again.

No..i think both are valid but Lucci has a lot left to do in the arc and wont focus on Luffy(like in this chap) since he realised the big gap.
But there are some people who genuinely thinks he's out after the "losing consciousness" moment.
Also, since it's a callback moment i might as well say he has a lot more to go since he was also losing consciousness after 30-40%of the fight in Enies Lobby.

Gear 5th is an ability with neither exact coordinates nor defined topography. Solely restricted by the limits of its user’s ingenuity. Can’t think of a more resonant technique for Luffy. In addition to being very enjoyable choreographically, it’s brings out his best trait. Not allowing circumstances to dictate his behavior. Most folks wouldn’t be goofing around or staying true to themselves while engaged in top tier combat. Also liked how he sees Sentomaru as an ally now. Dr. Atlas fed him so they’re all good guys now lol. So in conclusion, get you a man that can do both

Lucci tapping out after a few Gear 5th hits! Put respect on Kaido’s strength for battling Gear 5th having went through a gauntlet of beasts before (Scabbards, Yamato, Kid, Zoro, Law). Just wish I could put respect on his character as well after how his arc wrapped up

I’m getting main story setup vibes from this cliffhanger. Doesn’t read like a traditional arc-exclusive cliffhanger. I’m expecting Kuma, Dragon, Grand Fleet, Blackbeard, and/or Weevil to arrive shortly. Fuckery will ensue.

Forgot to add that Strawhats small character moments are always apprecited. Franky acknowledging Senor Punk. Adorably craving validation from Vegapunk-Senpai. Mama Nami's relentless disdain for Ceaser's existence. I'm sure there'll be more this arc as the SHs are finally together and not separated by plot.

Next up will most likely be Elbaf, which I also don't expect to be longer than 20 chapters. I assume what comes after that arc will be the last 100 chapters of the series. Oda can definitely wrap things up within the next 150 chapters and without actually rushing the story.

Because everyone’s talked about it by the time the actual chapter thread gets made.

Most people only care to discuss it when it’s fresh off the press, then they wait for the next chapter information to come out.

I miss him. One of the best antagonists in the series.

I miss Jack more, Jack was the one of the first guys to make me feel that stuff was going down in the new world everywhere else other than the Straw Hats and allies if only oda would just show other antics of new world pirates and their crew once in a while for like 3 4 chapters like he did with Jack I would be so happy it would make the world feel alive and more active.
