You're not paying attention to what I am saying. Simply having a lot of battles is not going to turn a blade black. Whenever Zoro fights, he's always using Koka on his Swords.

Name one other character who uses Koka on thier weapons as much as Zoro does. You think Oda just forgets to draw it for everyone else, but always somehow remembers to draw it for Zoro whenever he's fighting?

Knowing how to, and consistently using it all the time, like Zoro does, is two different things.

Katakuri already told us there is levels to hardening.

And as I said, Zoro will be at max level Koka by EoS, which will also factor into it.

Considering we got all hakis and DF awakenings behind us, pretty much yeah. Kokuto is a step beyond all of that.
We dont know the benefits and there will for sure be some. Oda isnt limiting the ability to only 2 characters for it to be nothing.
They are supposed to deliver the peak battle of the whole series, that's why they have the longest build-up.
Yes, Asura is superior considering it has never been done before but Asura is an ability that scales with all Zoro's abilities.
Asura in itself aint much but when you have good physicals(gorilla arms), good haki(king of hell) and Kokutos, all applied to Asura...

He already got a step beyond AdCoC with his observation killer and damaging physical object from afar
which he would not have attained going for creating a Black Blade..

its clear from this what is the haki that each specialize in. At near EOS:
Luffy will have peak of Conquerors haki that will do physical damage like shanks did to WB ship or even more
Zoro will have peak of CoA i.e black blade
Sanji will have peak of CoO (foresight or even greater)

Don't even need it.. He's Haki master which means he got an higher tier of CoC which Black Blades don't lead to..

Lol one of the main reasons for coa on swords we’re to prevent nicks and breaks, you legit think that all these other swordsmen aren’t protecting there blade???? Hell roger used it to protect ace against wb who guess what also used coa…. Ur copium is real 😂😂😂

We will see soon enough but one thing is clear, nobody aside from Mihawk could do it. Even Zoro with ridiculous haki state like KoH still didnt achieve Kokuto.
