Zoro will leave a swordsman to Sanji? 
if burgess gets that fruit. Beating him would be a greater testament to Zoro's strength than Shiryu

he's still a swordsman so he'd be WSSM
and for the love of god, stop acting like a glaive is a sword. It is not the same thing.
Zoro has no other reason to fight mihawk apart from simply getting the title. He isn't an antagonist in any other way.
Zoro vs Mihawk has as much buildup as Luffy vs Shanks
he let them escape one time because they helped him
but he's a marine and they're pirates. He works for the WG.

Zoro begins his journey carrying legacy of kuina in heart and will to search for 'one man' who stands at top of all swordsmen.
It's his dream which is central theme of one piece was ingrained into him to such extent that when he joined Luffy, he kind of threatened him to not to come between his dreams.
And, when he finally met that man known as Mihawk, Oda gave us a moment which defined an era in itself. He understood how weak he was but didn't give up. Mihawk took note of Zoro will power and spirit and declared that he will wait for him at his full strength.
Zoro in return made Luffy a promise.
This will power and dream is consistently highlighted till now and even during ts when Mihawk trained Zoro.
If that's not a build up then you don't understand a single thing about one piece.

And was the first notable character to go after Luffy after that revelation. He didn't attempt to pursue Luffy after figuring out his true abilities of making anyone an ally.
The expression that was drawn on him is the angriest he's ever looked so far. It could amount to nothing, but it shows that we don't have the full picture on his character. These theories that determine his fate before we've even gotten his story are 'bizarre,' to say the least. Like we've already figured him out or something and is now expendable.
Now that he's a wanted man, he becomes far more interesting to follow since he's now an active player in the plot. And given he's a powerful character not affiliated with any major parties, his next movement will be unpredictable, yet notable.

He says Kidd is equal to Luffy because they are rivals but deny the same for Mihawk and Shanks who are proclaimed as rivals and legends
He gives primacy to kidd portrayal over his underwhelming feats and failures by ignoring them, to put him at par with Luffy but ignores Mihawk portrayal and call him YC because of Vista clash taking it totally out of context.
Now I am fully convinced that some people perceive information/portrayal/feats to fit their own narrative and opinion instead of shaping their opinion based on rationally balancing it out the portrayal and feats.

Kid doesn't have any
getting defeated by the red hair pirates and kaido isn't underwhelming. The same would have happened to Luffy(and did happen to Luffy in the case of kaido)
as for WCI, Kid already clarified that he wasn't trying to do anything there, just steal some stuff
