I doubt they're going to be written out of the upcoming arcs. These events basically guarantee Kid and Law will play major roles in the next big arc going forward.

Kid and Law will definitely play a role in the downfall of Shanks and Teach, even if they aren't the ones who ultimately take them out.

Not from Shanks. At least, unless he has some sort of hidden fighting style we've never heard of.

Kid uses mountains of metal in battle. I'm sure he'll either get that from the ships, or he'll just magnetize the surroundings with awakening and use rocks instead.

In any case, the volume of things Kid controls is so great that a mere punch, even one with ACoC, wouldn't be enough to counter it. This is why Big Mom needed to gigantify herself against Kid and Law.

Kid is a stronger, more balanced version of Pica. To beat him you need the AP to blast through his structures. I doubt Shanks has that AP without his swordsmanship, unless he can just blast haki like a DBZ character.

Shanks doesn't have a DF or body like Kaido and BM.He is probably fast as fuck and has godly haki,Kidd won't tag him easily.Kidd is the underdog here.

He doesnt even have ryuo which one step to show off adcoc lol, he will now first see how shanks use adcoc to defeat him than he will learn it and use it next time as new powerup the next time he fight top tier

We don't know what he has at the moment. He already saw ryuo and ACoC. He was on the roof when Kaido used thunder bagua and ragnaraku on Luffy. We know for a fact he saw Luffy's ACoA, as he commented on it.

And he potentially even faced off against BM's ACoC here:

So I don't think its out of the question for him to have developed low level ACoC. If this were the case, it would honestly hype up Shanks's haki even more when Shanks defeats him.

There’s no narrative reason for Kidd & Law to walk away the victors here and all the reason for the sleeping Yonko to get their ponyglyphs. Luffy is going to need a rival for Laugh Tale and it sure isn’t going to be his former Allies.

I was just saying I doubt Shanks can beat Kid without a sword. He is confirmed to be a swordsman and you need a significant amount of AP to bypass Kid's powers.
