Oda did hint that Zoro's origins weren't important for the main story, so he may not even go into it in the manga.

You have a valid point. He left Zoro's origins vague whereas he gave all the details about Kuina's backstory in the sbs which was not really important to the current story, it was like a side thing

I think the same with robin when she first joined she was calling hims many names , roronoa mr. swordsman, but after they EL or TS she start call him zoro , i think also brook did when he first joined .

so maybe cuz jinbe doesn't know zoro that much compared to other SH as luffy and nami etc
