There is no such thing as internal defense. Lunarians have human anatomy. Inside the body, they have internal organs. And why King has to defend or block Zoro attacks if that is the case? You can say CoC but at the end, CoC is doing the same as internal destruction.

Understandable, could put King's Flame-off's durability on equal ground or a bit weaker than Kaido's hybrid but that would trigger alot of people
Flame-on King still negs
He also has Zoro already stronger than Mihawk. He’s not credible and Lunarians aren’t invincible. King fucked off against CoC, Zoro doesn’t call them invincible either.
That’s not how Oda draws fights. If CoC coating wasn’t needed, it wouldn’t of been included. He could of ended the scene with Zoro just using basic CoC. Authors add these things for reasons.
no, Kings reaction to Zoro and Zoro’s practical invincible statement imply they can be hurt.
Zoro learning better control over his haki after achieving Koh with him being able to unleash excessive haki through all his swords. Conquerors isnt needed for zoro to unleash his armament like that through all his blades
Current zoro has better control over his haki and enma after he learned not to hold back and restrict his haki
The more armament infused into his attacks the stronger they are meaning the stronger he is
