What was the last movie you watched?

Watched Ukrainian animation movie Mavka -

10/10 for visuals, 6/10 for plot. It resembles the first Avatar movie (similar plot, kind of, gorgeous forest, love story between MCs, etc.), but shorter (only about 80 min long) and with Ukrainian folklore, views and so on. Afaik, it's going to run in EU and US cinemas as well, if you want a beautiful fairy tale and don't mind cliché-y plot, I can recommend.

How did you find Everything Everywhere All at Once? I tried watching it and dropped after the first action scene. That tax office and mop closet at the same time scene was a little too cringe to watch for me.
Does it get better? I see a lot of praise for that one and I don't understand why.
Its a good movie, not my kind of movie but its a good movie

If you found it cringe from that you might struggle to continue through as it is really weird

There is a lot of ingenious stuff about the movie, but also cringe parts like you said.
I think it gets better, but not by a lot if you could not stomach that scene.

John Wick Chapter 4 (2023) 5/5, Action cinema at its fucking finest. There's a scene transition match cut in this film which is taken straight from lawrence Of Arabia and I could not have been more happy/giddy since LOA is my fav film of all time.
Keanu is a killing machine and Donnie Yen plays the best role he's ever had in a Western film. It's best I don't say too much incase of spoilers but the action keeps escalating every encounter and that final hour in Paris is pure carnage and perfection.

I will say this, if you are someone who doesn't like these films and just thinks they are action porn then you probably won't like this but if you love action cinema then it really doesn't get better than this.
