That indicates that they're high-level swordsmen tho. The whole schtick around swordsmen in One Piece is that anyone can cut with a sword, but it takes skill to choose when you want to cut.

If a character is not cutting their opponent with a Meitou it's because they didn't want to, which is indicative of skill.

I'm not Ndule, I never claimed Shanks was going to lose in egghead island. But him losing to Kid in elbaf or in the final war would be the completion of Kid's character arc.

They can cheer from the side lines, do some coordinated attack against the evil marines in the final war, and grumpily accept that Luffy is indeed the PK and not themselves.

He didn't summon anyone though. Kidd is the one who walked in on them.
