- First of all it was a blindside attack so Luffy’s FS wouldn’t really work in this situation also he was anything but calm in this chapter.

- We don’t know how powerful Apoo’s AP is, the one time we saw this guy attack someone was against a logia so the attack was nullified. We have no idea how much damage this guy is capable of doing with his D.F.

- Next we don’t know how strong Apoo is we know that the B.P Hierarchy is entirely strength based but we don’t know if he’s had an opportunity to get a promotion.

- Lastly both Luffy and Zoro are fine at the end of the chapter. Neither of them were even trying this chapter as well.

1. BS, Luffy wouldn't of reacted with a surprise face if he wasn't using CoO. Luffy literally says "Wait i was actually hit"

We know that Luffy likes to goof around. And Zoro also gets serious only once he puts on his bandana. So Zoro being cut by another supernova with an ability unknown to them isn't dramatic. He is going to beat King anyways.

1. Pre ts Apoo AP >= Marco is indeed confirmed. I've always said it Marco best feat is equalled by pre ts Apoo.
2. Doffy could never dominate 2 SN in 1v 2 as Apoo did.
3. Kata will never be tagged nor hurt by these blasts from Apoo coz he has better FS control
4. Zoro can't beat Cracker, I'm not even sure he will beat WhoWho less than high high diff
5. Luffy needs more PIS to even push Kaido to high diff
6. Apoo is above any SN not named Luffy Kidd Law Urouge.
7. Luffy NEVER beat not surpassed base Kata at WCI, there is no panel of Luffy actually dominating base Kata and winning, none, Kata falling by himself willingly.
The fact Kata was also awake and smiled that Luffy escaped , the dude let Luffy live. He wanted to taste defeat and fall on his back on purpose.

Apoo is still one of the weaker Supernovas. He did some damage to Luffy and Zoro because he was able to set up his music while Luffy and Zoro weren’t even aware of his presence and were focused on fodders, and they had no clue what his ability is. Luffy also might not have had FS due to being angry, though honestly Oda’s gonna ignore that Luffy has FS whenever it’s convenient for him. Apoo has weak endurance if that attack from Kid did him in.

So attacking someone at a range when they are fighting a bunch of people and not being able to defeat either. Instead they tank your attack equals to be able to handle them just because you have a unique power.
