Apoo power is a hax so it makes sense that he was able to do this to Luffy. His explosions probably work like the haki Luffy has been training to do.

Not enough hax to justify Luffy being KO after only one explosion, and knowing that Luffy endured worse than that.

Still not enough to justify these ridiculous gaps and inconsistencies, for example the fact that Luffy managed to somehow stay alive from Katakuri's eternizing and extreme beating of him whereas it took less grievous and numerous attacks and injuries for the Enraged Army to knock him out or that it took only that for Apoo to knock him out even temporally, or the fact that Zoro fainted after his fight with Killer despite the injury he got from him being nothing compared to the ones that Mr 1 inflicted on him at Alabasta. Mr 1 was litterally butchering him.

yet still got up to fight... only fell unconsous after final round for 10 min then...

On serious note,
Apoo only gave him white yes and KOed him for 1 or 2 pages (that's like 1 min max)
it is still impressive tho.

Best part of the chapter - Luffy and Zoro ditched those horrid Beast Pirate outfits right away.

Second best part - Starting to see some payoff from Act 1 of Wano.

Luffy and Zoro were adventuring across Wano's most derelict districts. Tama represents the suffrage happening across the country, and she was appropriate for that as she's an innocent, kind hearted little girl, unshackled by the sins of Wano's past. It's those like her that make liberating Wano important. Even more than restoring the Kozuki clan's honor. And the sentiment is represented by Luffy and Zoro, who have been acting as the paragons for the liberation.

More seriously, @Shura do you think FS is really something that luffy needed ? with someone who follows his emotions ? It was a waste of time for Luffy to learn FS. But it's an ability that the future PK requires, nothing more.

The point is Luffy can use FS when it is unnecessary and he forgets when it is necessary......Luffy getting angry was already done with Kaido when he learnt about what he did to Tama...so now what is point of repeating the act 1 again?....also, if he wants to knock them why can't he knock them out with CoC and done with it.....Luffy shouldn't do rookie mistake at this point of time.....it is one thing if Luffy dodges some attacks and gets hit...he should be alert after the first hit....but...anyways.....
