If it's something akin to Sugars Devil Fruit, then EVERYONE forgets about it. A devil fruit ability isn't going to be selective like "Oh, that's a WG official, he's cool, he can remember."
Who knows, it could all be apart of the Gorosei's plan. They spoke about a Great Cleansing. Perhaps erasing Lulucia wasn't to make an an example, but rather root out all the other Countries who could potentially conspire against them. That would actually be pretty smart of them, tbh. But at the same time, you can't really predict what would happen. It could also be a huge miscalculation, that just ended up backfiring.

This makes me think...what if some of the Holy Knights are stronger than Lonkos but weaker than Chadmirals?

The mods are doing a very bad job… I post the same spoilers like @Cream filled donut7 but with source but they deleted that but if someone else post that it stays?

What did Momo do to GB? His only feat was "destroying the physical form of a logia". Basically the literal same as Vivi attempting to slash Croco in the head when they first meet face to face. Crocodile got dissolved into sand and reformed, just like GB got destroyed into flora and reformed.
It's a literally non-existent feat. Futile resistance.
Morly is very likely to achieve just the same as Momo and Vivi, not because "muh King hype", but because GB is an admiral.

Yet couldn't do better than weakened Momo or Morley /Karasu did
King has one wing, i.e., zero aerial threats and no sword. Dude was probably sleeping (evident by no flames) in his cell when Greenbull attacked him
Do you have any panel that says King was in full health while Greenbull fought him?
