So many faulty arguments and I'm wondering why.
- Sky splitting requires an actual collision of powers and you might even argue it's more of a cloud split anyway, means a cloudy sky is partially required aswell.
- Not every CoC coating or infusion creates the non touching effect. That only happens, when CoA blasts - barrier or ID CoA - get infused with CoC. Swordsmen and other weapon user obv want their weapon to touch the opponent. For example Yamato only used that weapon enhancing tech and Kaido mostly aswell.
If they used CoC here, they just infused their hands instead or in Kuzan's case the ice glove directly.
With that said:
Oda knows what's up in the community and he's a troll. You can be damn sure that he knows, that the fandom wonders whether or not the admirals actually have CoC. Probably recieved 100s of SBS questions about it already.
So no, far in contrary to what many people are saying, Oda is exactly the type of author who would handle that shit extra subtle, so that we will have to wait some further weeks for actual confirmation.
Remember how clearly he portrayed the first Thunder Baguas from Yamato and Kaido as adv CoC attacks? Yeah me neither.
Where were all those obvious visuals during both Kamusaris? W/o some Kid pirates fainting we still couldn't be sure whether CoC was used or not.
It's the same man that kept some random hybrid forms hidden for years just for the surprise factor.
And it's the same man who makes us suffer every year from Silhouette piece. So please don't act like he's the kinda guy, who would "show it clearly".
The aftermath explosion + the trails and the sheer power of that, what would otherwise just be CoA hardened punches, makes me think they used CoC. That's why Kuzan had the smallest attack prep panel ever and Garp even had none.
