Don't you guys find this drawing to be a bit odd? Aren't Big Mom's pupils too big and plain black? I've checked some other close-ups to her eyes and they never look like that. Are we sure that those aren't fake eyes painted on her eleyidsa for whatever make-up reason? Maybe she isn't even seeing Chopper here because her eyes are closed.

She looks like she put some traditionnal chinese and japanese makeup with white painting on the face and black eyebrows.

If it was Act 4 and the third round against Kaido I would say they'll win but since Act 3 looks to be far from done and that we haven't see the true power of the Yonkos yet I still expect the tides to turn for the alliance on Onigashima.

Eh, we expected them to show up, doesn't change the fact that 2 Yonko exist and are immensely powerful. Even if BM becomes incompetant, it still leaves Kaido. Even if both Yonko just magically vanished, it still leaves their entire crews.

I personally don't think the WB pirates are "enough" to balance the scales, but will make this entertaining in the least.

Okay, while its certainly shitty news the BM pirates fell under the exact same gag with Marco as with King (you can see the Canter falling with the ships at the ropes again from the waterfall in one of the pics), it also entirely means Marco and allies aren't directly fighting them, just preventing them from coming up again. This probably means we will see them later during the battles.

I think Oda is just trying to prevent too many people from cluttering Onigashima while he's trying to set everything up, however long that takes eventually. Idk, maybe they still arrive on time for the Yamato announcement (if the alliance loses temporarily), but for now it means that Marco's side isn't directly fighting them, just keeping them away while they try to get to Onigashima themselves.


As for why Kaido didn't open up the secret entrance for them.......goddamnit Oda lol.

This is One Piece where giant persons are very numerous and where you can find nearly indestructible clothes. Besides Onigashima has Kaido and the Calamities and at least one giant woman as residents so the dressmakers have no excuse.

BBP are interesting only because they can steal DF and they play dirty. No wonder Shanks and his crew are considered as strong because they think and play like a real crew.
