Nobody cares about people with dwarfism. In fact, I've seen many get mocked. But there is no moral panic or outrage or even demands that they should have the world cater to them.
I don’t know where you live, but at least in my country, discrimination against disabled people is illegal. And it’s illegal specifically because disabled activists fought for protections for disabled people.

There are people who want to integrate pedophillia into the sexual umbrella of identities even. Sure, it's a minority, but MAP-Pride is not a meme, it's a real thing, and it's disgusting.
It’s not just a minority, literally the only people who want this are a small group of internet weirdos who’re probably on government watchlists.

These guys are irrelevant and you’re giving them more publicity than they deserve just by talking about them.

CIS is literally just an excuse to come up with more labels it feels like.
According to research from McGill University, specifically Science Communicator Jonathan Jarry, the prefix “cis” has roots that date back far earlier than the past couple of years. “The prefix “cis-” has thus made its way from Latin to geography—“cisalpine” meaning “on our side of the Alps”—from chemistry to chemotherapy—cisplatin being an anticancer drug whose ammine groups are on the same side of its platinum atom—from molecular biology to how we understand the complex reality of sex and gender,” the article, titled “The Word ‘Cisgender’ Has Scientific Roots,” shares.

The shortest of Latin lessons will have your light bulb going off. In Latin, cis means “on the same side as.” Trans, on the other hand, means “on the opposite side as” in Latin. It all comes down to the sex you were assigned at birth—which is often a split second decision based on obvious genitalia or sexual organs. Grammatically, make sure to leave a space between “cis” and the person its describing. It’s a descriptor and should not be added to the subject.

The term “cisgender” may seem unnecessary, but let’s take a moment to explore alternatives. “Normal,” “regular,” and “status quo” all insinuate that anything that strays can be considered abnormal or irregular. We all know that’s certainly untrue, as there are many different identities a person can embody.

Throughout history there have been many mental illnesses. Why do we ascribe an identity to this one?
??? People ascribe identity to mental illness all the time. Almost everyone with a physical or mental disability considers it a part of their identity, unless they're overcome with self loathing for that part of themself, to the point where they try to dissociate it from their own self image

Agreed. Why is 'transphobia' as a term a thing?

People across the course human history has abhorred deviation.
We don't agree with pedos.
We don't agree with murderers.
Heck, people rarely put up with the ugly or those who suffer from dwarfism.
But Transgender is a protected class despite it's deviation? Fuck off.
Do you think its okay to discriminate against people for being ugly, or for having dwarfism? Very curious.

Sorry but that's bs.
Making an illness (mental or physical) a part of one's identity is bad and hinders healing.
That being said, transgender is not an illness.

(Disclaimer i agree that being transgender is not an illness)
but most physical and mental disabilities are not things you can heal. They're things you live with. Things you work around. At best, you can treat symptoms.

hold on so if I m a disabled person than that's my identity??

like the hell is this nonsense??

yes blindness would be his disability not identity
Your view of identity makes no sense to me. All of what you consider yourself is part of your identity. Physical, mental, emotional. Identity is nothing more and nothing less than who and what you are

Most? Really?
Also weren't we talking about illness and not disability ?
I dont know what you were talking about, but I talk solely of disabilities. However, I was responding to a post about mental illness that was conflating the two, so I understand the confusion

an illness can't be an identity

you're making no sense at all here
