I'd give every round to Messi except for speed and maybe penalties. He's just a better passer, dribbler and he's also more efficient on goals than Ronaldo even though he's also a freak and scored more career goals.

Now that they're both gone in Europe, it's Mbappe vs Haaland now. I'd go with Mbappe because he's more versatile in that he can create his own chances now in addition to doing the running from behind like Haaland does. He's basically becoming a one-man army now like Messi and Neymar before him.


If you're talking about 2012 Messi, then obviously no one could've but I think Neymar was the closest thing to Messi ever in terms of dribbling, passing, and scoring. If you look at his season stats then his G/As were like 30-35 in 25-30 games. And, he had such stats for nearly 8-9 years.

To be fair to Neymar, he started his European career late. He moved to European league at the age of 21. At that age, Ronaldo and Messi were already established stars in the European football scene. I am saying he wasted a few of his early years in Santos.

There is no question about Neymar's immense potential, he was expected to be the face of football after Messi and Ronaldo. PSG getting the oil money has been the worst thing that happened to football in the past decade.

That said, Neymar is no Messi, we wont see another Messi in our lifetime
