Why not sell them? They sound like bad investments.
I don't see apartments and houses as investments anymore, but rather consumption items.Only malls and other expensive commercial buildings generate good money with rent. You are better off selling any surplus house and apartments and investing in something else.

I agree with you to some extent but there is still money to be made with residential properties. Depending on where you are in the world maybe not right now. The housing market in the US for example is a mess at the moment.

People hate landlords cause they add nothing to the economy. They simply own the house and nothing else. They don't have a fixed rate, take a long time to fix any damages and waste no time in evicting you if you miss a payment. It's so bad overall that corporate owned buildings are better.

won't go into details but that's not possible for now
Hopefully sometime in the future you will be able to then. Sitting on assets that you can't do anything with sucks.

Having lived under management companies and individual land lords, I can say that my experience with the former was far better.

feeling like calling me liar??

was expecting such nonsense from you
No. I believe you, I'm just very surprised by your story
I understand that its hard to sell asset, my relative have that problem too, but at the point where you are struggling to eat ?? Sorry, I'm just informing you that its VERY hard to believe.

It all depends on how much the city is growing and if the demand for apartments is on the rise. For example Rio de Janeiro 50-70 years ago was barely a city, all those big buildings you a see along the beach were not there, that land was cheap(in the south zone i mean). All those people that bought land and build there are now multimillionaires.Any kind of building there is worth quite a lot.Rio de Janeiro has the richest neighborhood in latin america and at the same time the poorest ones too nowadays.

Yeah, but that is a bullshit mindset produced by cultural marxism. Its the same as hating people for owning a car and renting it and basically anything that you can own and rent.People that think like that are just salty they dont own any real state.

Not every land lord is scummy. In a lot of cases, its just people who decided to go into another field of business to make a living. There are people who own real estate that isn't profitable because they had to take loans to buy the properties. Of course you will always have people who are rich and corrupt but you can't lump everyone who owns something in with them.

moral of the story is not every landlord is rich or bad
yeah, but like i said, people have a distorted view about what being rich is and about rich people in general.Owning a car might be considered a luxury in some places of the world.
