Future Events Akainu and Blackbeard are destined to lose together

The issue lies in what Akainu says to Ace and Luffy. That they are BOTH criminals by blood.

Sabo refutes that. And says Ace is not an inherent criminal by bloodline.

Luffy isn't the kind of person who cares about that kind of complex. Sabo will beat Akainu and refute his belief that Ace wasn't an inherent criminal.
Luffy considers Blackbeard and Sakazuki to be the same right now. He holds the scar and grimaces with rage when he’s brought up

I know you saw @Kurozumi Wiwi 's post of Luffy literally being traumatized by Akainu punching a hole in ace

These 2 scene are NOT comparable. One is about Ace. The other is absolutely about Akainu KILLING Ace
Shouldn’t the protagonist trauma have precedence either way as we directly followed his plight as readers lol. All the arguments for Sabo vs Akainu apply much more to Luffy.
We literally have Luffy’s scar throbbing when thinking about Akainu 2 years later even though he got over Ace’s death lol.

Personally I dislike "past" parallels as a tell to mean anything in the present. For example I highly doubt God Valley is being "perfectly" recreated in any sense of the word. The scale of the endgame is far far larger than Rocks and God Valley
Past parallels are usually broken when the main character succeeds where the past parallel fails. Roger did succeed in defeating Xebec, so the parallel will probably hold.
Post automatically merged:

Teach is really a mixture between Newgate and Xebec as much as Luffy is a mixture between Roger and Shanks. Kaido also had Xebec parallels.
Teach and Newgate are completely different outside of the DF.

As is who fights Akainu.

Let's wait until it actually happens.
No, its not. Narrative absolutely shows you who Oda cares about and their relationships. Oda has had Luffy witness Ace's death by Akainu. Oda had Luffy scarred by Akainu. Oda had Luffy traumatized by the event. Oda had Luffy's scar throb when Akainu was mentioned post timeskip. Sabo literally has nothing to do with Akainu whatsoever

Headcanon is when you provide an example that is a complete fallacy to the argument. There is no scenario where Sabo's emotional payoff for Ace is higher than Luffy's. There is no resonance there to even suggest he is "taking over" that fight. Everything you mentioned applies to Luffy multiple times over, because he's the MC of the story

I even provided you a myriad of examples where the Revolutionaries goals involve the Celestial dragons, and are preparing to face the God Knights, not the Marines.

But sure, its "headcanon" to think Luffy is facing Akainu

Parallel, “a person or thing that is similar or analogous to another.”

Opposite, “a person or thing that is opposite or contrary.”

"Or analogous."

Analogous

Having analogy; corresponding to something else; bearing some resemblance or proportion (often followed by "to".)

Another definition for opposite

Of either of two complementary or mutually exclusive things.

Complementary means to complete. Two opposites making a whole, not having some resemblance two something else.
