Also, Oda is leaving the entire incident a mystery (unless its explained in the chapter) of why Rocks' is even there. I highly doubt they went to God Valley for 2 fruits only. One left with Kuma and the other was taken by BM and given to Kaido.

Theres gotta be more to that story. I am wondering if it has to do with Shanks considering he was found in a treasure chest there...but Im not sure why yet.

I can get him not having a fruit yet as a reason for not being at his strongest but the bulk of his strength should come from aCoC and haki mastery in general anyway. Not much of a difference other than for fodder control.

Kong wasn’t on GV based on early leaks (?), he probably was just talking to Garp. We don’t know if Saturn fights as well. The sides looks pretty even although I’d say Rocks has an edge if the big names like Captain John, and Wang Zhi were mid top-tiers or something. We don’t know their exact powerlevel, but Teach implied that even old Wang Zhi was a big shot.

Next arc imo. Way too many Rocks references to be comfortable with us not addressing it this late in the game.

Not with VP cloning Bakkin/Whitebeard (Weevil is clearly a failed clone) and now, very clearly, Amazon Lily having some connection to Rocks.

Then there is the Burned Man who imo really should just be Rocks or a clone. But if not, he'll definitely be relevant soon.

That doesn't impede the possibility I just mentioned of both of them not being on their prime now and growing stronger as equals later.

The original point was and still is that "Young Whitebeard" and "Prime Roger" used on the same sentence to refer to when they were the same age is weird, and we really don't know anything solid about how strong they were at that point compared to their selves two years later.
