Actually, Hody was even almost taken out by Luffy's Red Hawk; his Elephant Gun Gatling was just an overkill for Hody.

Isn't it embarassing that you shitbrain suddenly believe Ulti/Page One are Hody level? This amount of stupidity is really ludicrous.

Also there is a difference in power and skills between the Luffy that faced Hody and the one who faced P1 and Ulti. Even without the haki boosts Luffy has progressed in strength during each NW arc thanks to MC power and fights against Doflamingo, Cracker and Katakuri.
