But it becomes irrelevant when Luffy uses a mode that requires high stamina while holding back on his most powerful asset (ACoC with internal destruction). He was fighting Kaido for hours using ACoC prior to G5, while using G4 and Gear stacking. After that, he used all types of advanced Hakis in G5. Against Kizaru, Luffy was goofing around most of the time, until he used ACoC in that one last punch.

That's a very convenient argument. You say Kizaru won against Luffy because he got up first, despite Luffy didn't use advanced Haki, nor did he take damage from Kizaru. At the same time you attribute Zoro fighting Lucci for a long time to Zoro being too generous.

You see the double standards?

And when Kizaru used advanced haki or even awakening? All I see it's Luffy using gear 5 (which it's his stronger gear) and even a final punch imbued with black armament haki. Kizaru used his fruit like he always does and his sword. I think Luffy used more while Kizaru kinda holding his power (for plot reason or other thing, I don't know but it is what it is).

Luffy is already incredibly resistant to blunt force, and Kaidou was still whacking even Gear 5 around.
