You know you failed big time when majority of the discourse surrounding your fights are what is being used, and not because of the complexity of an ability but simply incompetency on your part as an author/illustrator. Pathetic state this manga is in atm regarding anything battle related.
To make matters worse this is the 5% of panel time we get, the rest is always off panelled (Kiz vs Luffy was off panelled too) because god forbid we don't get shots of fodders reacting to events to pad the chapters instead of some actual combat. But yea man can't even get the 5% he gives us right.
Zoro, who's the origin of CoC, is right behind Lucci. It's coming from him, not the attack, if that's the case, you'd see the Haki trails from Lucci's body, not behind him alongside Zoro. For Kaido and Kid, the trails come from the affected area.
TBH, as a Zoro fan, I'm fine with Zoro using ACoC to defeat Lucci (it reminds me of Bird Dance against King). Especially because Luffy required G5 (aka his peak) and 3 hits.
This might seem irrelevant but you have to realize that while Luffy only has one power-up after G5 (ACoC), Zoro still has 2 after ACoC: merging OCoA with ACoC to make KOH AND Asura.
No. We only count transformation. ACoA is irrelevant when using ACoc, it's literally a downgrade so no point mentioning it. Fair point for ACoO tho ig.
Now that I think about it, Zoro actually has 3 more steps.
1. KOH: 3 sword style
2. KOH: 3 serpent style
3. Asura.
