Enma drew excess Haki from Oden and Kaido is familiar with that. No other sword does the same thing.
So when the same thing happens on Zoro, normally Kaido would connect it to feeling he felt when fighting Oden.

Doesn't explain at all why Kaido senses Oden's presence within the blade. Drawing out excess amounts of Zoro's Haki still makes it Zoro's Haki. It's simple, there is no need for mental gymnastics.

That's not true either. Kaido got PTSD from the Scabbards piercing him, remembering Oden. He asked, why their blades are capable of piercing him, asking whether they are using his Ryuo too. He never said that he "sensed Oden" in their attacks.

Kaidou couldn't distinguish between sword and oden.
He probably it was the same.
Bigmam specifically mentions only sword.
Kaidou mentions sword because he's unaware zoro is carrying enma.

Which is logical, since the user basically bestows his will upon the sword. It's not like it makes a difference, as Zoro isn't using Oden's Haki. But his presence/will is still carried on with the blade.

And why the heck would Zoro out of all people comment on Oden? He never met Oden. Kaido met and fought Oden, so he is best qualified to determine Oden's presence, neither Zoro, nor Big Mom.
