I don't see how any of these comments are reflected from the actual comic.
In enies lobby he almost dies against Kalifa.
In Alabasta same against mr.2.
In water 7 he is the main fause why the crew was actually able to save robin as he did not give up on her.
Sanji has always been the same, except maybe fishman island.

You're not wrong, EL was peak Sanji for sure so in comparison, TB is a downgrade but he still wasn't the monster he is today imo

Wano’s matchups being garbage. Especially the poor treatment of Jack and Page One.

Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji’s matchups were fine. But the rest of the SHs left much to be desired.

Usopp should’ve beat P1
Nami should’ve had a longer fight with Ulti
Franky should’ve had a longer fight with Sasaki
Brook should’ve fought WsW (obviously he wouldn’t be the strongest F6 in this timeline)
Chopper should’ve fought Perospero
Jinbe should’ve fought Smoothie (both YC2 level, both powered up by water, Jinbe has much more history with the BMPs than BPs)

King of the Beast Pirates doesn't have Conqueror's Haki. For someone named "King" but doesn't have CoC, that's hugely disappointing.

I literally said AFTER Ennies lobby. He was great up until then.


We got his life long dream of getting the invisible fruit to peep in ladies bathrooms in thriller bark. That was the point where oda made his gentleman's chivalry to straight up a perverted gag.

He still has good moments after that of course.
But the perverted gags got more and more in creepiness and it took over his character completely.

In return to sabaody, he was a lust filled sexually deprived character. Fishman island his perverted nose bleeds were an actual plot point. Punk hazard he was abusing Naomi's body. Etc etc.

This basically started on thriller bark and continues to this day.

Sanji having good or great moments doesn't just erase the cheap creepy perverted gags. In fact, they massively detract from his great moments.

There is no way Luffy can help.

Lack of focus on Zoro's characterization in Wano, whether it be about his dream, swordsmanship, connections within characters within Wano like Hiwhori and Gyukimaru, connections with the Shimotsuki clan inside and outside Wano, etc., and a lack of focus on Ryuma, the most legendary swordsman in the world, and is seen like a god in Wano.

Yeah say what you want about how great Sanji is but he tends to border on the lines of literal stalking/sexual assault sometimes
