No, it was solved by the fact that he was hostage of Sanji's family and since they were not going to marry pudding to Sanji anymore they had no reason to threaten Zef anymore..

The thing is that no it wasn't the Vinsmokes that were threatening Zeff's life but Big Mom and her agents, with them threatening to cut Zeff's head with Judge playing along and using it to force Sanji to go along with it. Then later we have Judge saying that he won't go to East Blue and leave Zeff alone despite not being the one directly threatening Zeff's life.

But then again WCI was a mess of writing, it was actually my first big disillusionment with One Piece.

Kizaru was never going to do significant damage to either Luffy or his crew. You were tripping balls if you ever believe that Oda would let that happen.
Kizaru got his small win by not getting utterly destroyed by G5 Luffy. Take it and stop complaining.

And mind you that there are examples, like Aokiji vs Garp in a way

Garp is not Luffy. Garp can lose completely. Luffy can not.
Aokiji was allowed to stall Luffy for a time. He was never and will never be allowed to stop him.

The reason WB didn't use named move Is very simple: because Oda didn't want to show the names since the fruit would have passed to BB.

All the other characters, what a discovery, does use them, and even Oven used more of them than Kizaru.

Yeah, because if I remember correctly Ace Lost his fruit in the same arc he was introduced, no? Lol

Also, Sabo's case Is even different sinfe Sabo himself si a rip off of Ace: obv he use the same attack as him.

That in fact proves my point even further at the opposite: Roger barely had one named move because Shanks has to show the whole package.

I fondly remember Ace was on screen for way more than on arc, so he could not be left with nothing, but more so Sabo is Ace's rip off.

Obv he uses the same move as him: he was crated as his clone.

I am fairly confident that excluding the flashback where he does not have his fruit, ace is on less panels than WB. Or at least comparable

everytime zoro works out or fights an opponent he's working towards his goal, same as franky making sure the ship arrives at it's destination or usopp with his moments of courage
