In fact… this can totally be a thing.
I mean being a D. as no real importance storywise for character that are not Luffy but the readers still find that hype. So this can happen as cheap hype to make sell novels.

Now what I expect is to know:
-Why Zoro wants to be the WSS? Where this motivation come from ?
-Why Zoro wears a bandana when he is serious?

And I still think it is expecting to much:saden:

Shanks had to develop a fs killing technique to deal with mihawk.
Zoro will need to do the same, also swordsmanship is tied to haki, as the pinnacle of all swordsman zoro will have the pinnacle of haki as well.

I do agree zoro may not get FS against Shiryu just a nee form of ACOO since he is invisible gimmick however I do think Zoro's getting FS sonner or later

fs is the perfect ability for a swordsman, zoro will have all 3 forms of adv haki by eos, fs is also perfect for Zoro since he is calm and stoic
