CoC: Color of Clowns

Haters will say Jabra isn't Robin's Brother
Honestly after this chapter the cast creeps me out even more, dude with glasses really struggling to not jerk off on his sister yikes. Hopefully this goes quickly to the final act and doesn't take much longer, cause this whole movie arc kinda killed this series for me. Kaguya Sama >>> Oshi no Ko
That's the entire point of the series.

The Idol industry ruins kids' lives by sexualizing them for profit.

They're fucked up because shitty fucked up adults want to see them naked and fuck them, and will pay as much money as possible to get as close to that fucked up reality as possible.

That being said, Aqua x Ruby forever

But, there is only one true goddess

Just pretend the reincarnation never happened. Oi. They never chose to be siblings, Ruby always wanted to love Aqua.

Ruby loved Aqua in her past life, now they're the same age, as long as they don't make incest babies, I don't care.

(I actually root for Kana, but I know how crazy/evil Aka/Mengo can be, so I'm hoping if I root for Aqua x Ruby enough I can get the secret Kana ending).

Aqua is technically... like, 50? Who gives a shit about the incest, man is certified Otaku Lolicon. Having sex with his twin sister, who is his own age, would be a step up from simping for his 16-year-old idol mother in his past life.

...

Oshi no Ko is a really weird series, lol

Unpopular take, but I gotta say it:

1. The Movie arc is the Wano of OnK (aka the worst arc in the series).

2. Kaguya-sama post-rooftop confession is generally a weaker work compared to pre-rooftop confession.

1. I refuse to judge arc's mid-arc anymore, I'll respond to this again once the series if finished and Aqua and Ruby make AI's reincarnation

2. Yeah Aka was really sick of drawing by the end of Kaguya. IMO he blows his thumbs out playing Apex Legends and then his hands are too sore to draw, happens to me as a writer with gaming a lot. I'm interested to see how the anime improves the end of Kaguya.

It isn't about the quality of the drawing, but the quality of the writing and the story that downgraded Kaguya. The anime isn't gonna improve it.

And the film arc already ended.

Yeah he was indeed sick of drawing by the end of Kaguya which is why he takes solely the author role for Oshi no Ko while someone else is drawing those manga chapters, so while you could have used this as a main explaination for the drop of quality of Kaguya Samas final arcs, this can't explain Oshi no Ko's drop in story quality.

Frankly speaking, Aka's drop in quality is caused by his lack of discipline. Kinda like Lolda in Wano, he promoted unserious things instead of giving the fans what they wanted and needed.

After the rooftop confession and christmas arc in Kaguya, fans wanted more progress between Ice Kaguya and Shirogane, Ishigami and Miko, and also possibly Chika and Hayasaka in the second half of the story. What we got? Shirogane in Kaguya family drama, Ishigami simping for ages and ages and ages for his Senpai with Ishimiko being completely offscreened, and several panels of Chika and Hayasaka (also off-screened). :lawsigh:

He did this again with the second half of OnK (basically everything post-Tokyo Blade arc). His only good work is everything involving Kana, meanwhile Ruby became unlikable, Akane had to be a satellite because she is too smart, and Aqua just meandered from point to point with no obvious progress in his revenge. The moment we got to the Wano of OnK, the film arc that has been built since the first chapters, he flunked it HARD just like Lolda flunked Wano. We got no significant substance of what the film is even about (beyond what we already knew) and now the arc is forever known instead as the incest arc. :peperain:

Basically, Aka went full tin-foil in both instances. He simply couldn't write a decent second half, I think.

And this is also why, although I am upset by the cancellation of Love Agency, I was not really surprised and I'm not really sympathetic toward the fate of his new work. Ain't no way he could write them at the same time while fumbling from arc to arc like that. It's starting to make me believe that Aka bought into his own hype and thought he could do no wrong after his work found early success, that's why his second halves sucked.
