I personally think that some villains don’t need a tragic backstory or some huge motivation
They can simply be evil and have a God complex
DBZ villains are the perfect example for this
Hidan and Kakuzu too

It's also hilarious that people expect villains to be some tragic characters when we have fucking Sukuna and Dio being diabolical villains for the shits and giggles.

Imu could also be a similar villain who is just a complete maniac, instead Oda decided to make him a cuck. Talk about wasted, huge potential.

That’s the problem is that he probably doesn’t know for certain who stole the Mother Flame. He didn’t even know York was out to kill him so he can’t say with 100% certainty the WG used the weapon despite likely theorizing as much.

Everything Vegapunk said so far can be so easily twisted by the WG it’s wild.
