At this point everyone in the world has to ask themselves what on earth this old motherfucker wants from them.

He basically told them that the world is sinking, that some war happened in the past where he doesn't know who was good and who was evil and that some bad ancient weapons exist that could cause serious trouble.

All that without adding any kind of context.

Imagine you are a random citizen yourself and this happens.

You would ask yourself: "Well, and what should I do now? What is his point exactly?"

Vegapunk just wants to redeem himself for supplying the World Government with weapons of mass destruction for years. Unfortunately all he's done is shorten the timer and make Gorosei and Imu realize they need to commit genocide sooner than planned, actively hurting the good side. It would've been better not to broadcast this, because the "good guys" were already going for the One Piece.

RHPs - Luffy gotta meet Shanks and show his strength
BBPs - Built as anti Luffy since before Skypeia
CG - Luffys rival Buggy and Zoros rival Mihawk
Marines - Akainu killing Ace and scarring Luffy
Gorosei - Nasujuro with the Shodai Kitetsu
Holy Knights - Garling and his retards

Who is going to fight who? How many will face off against SHPs? At least five groups have characters that can fight Luffy and/or Zoro:
RHPs - All SHPs can have a matchup
BBPs - All SHPs can have a matchup
CG - Only Zoro and Sanji and maybe some other SHPs can have a matchup
Marines - All SHPs can have a matchup (looking unlikely with how shit VAs have been this arc)
Gorosei - Luffy and Zoro can have a matchup
Holy Knights - Unknown, maybe all SHPs can have a matchup (though Dragons comment suggests that RA will be fighting or engaging these Holy Knights)

There are few opponents/encounters for Luffy and Zoro that are almost certain imo
Luffy - Shanks, BB, Akainu, One Elder (Warcury probably), Imu
Zoro - Shanks (not a fight but still because of shared Mihawk rivalry)/Benn, Shiryu, Nasujuro, Kizaru (if Akainu and Marines become an enemy), Mihawk

At the minimum BB and Imu for Luffy and Nasujuro and Mihawk for Zoro. But with so many groups how will Oda handle it without powercliffing the fuck out.

There’s enough allies for the enemies. Luffy and SHs won’t fight everybody as seen in arcs like DR and Wano

Correction, Actually Luffy encourage Bonney to attack Saturn, She transform into Nika, Luffy and Bonney did Combo Attack sending Saturn away in small crumbs. For the mysterious new character,it's silhouette, probably the man with the burn scar (or Shanks twin ).

Yeah but those groups were actually one group. In DR it was Doffy pirates and in Wano it was Beast pirates with BM (Orochi and his fighters were non factors). Here there are too many noticeable characters

There's no way Oda can end this manga within a decent time frame and make a good story if Luffy is expected to take out all his ops

Sword and allies takes on BB Pirates

3 way battle between cross guild, red haired and strawhats which will be where Zoro beats Mihawk

Meanwhile Dragon and the Revolutionaires invade mariejose

After beating cross guild and red haired pirates Strawhats get the one piece and sail to challenge the world government who is beating the rev army back

But the strawhat fleet and allies will turn the tides and Luffy will confront imu for a 1v1

Luffy will take imu down but he'll die from his injuries

His last words will be telling Bonney to lead the world into the dawn
