Well, Jaime was the youngest Knight to be inducted into the Kingsguard, ever.

He held his own against the Smiling Knight at 16, who he described as "half as huge but twice as mad" compared to The Mountain. And this was as a squire, before Dayne killed the guy and knighted Jaime.

In terms of raw talent & skill, Jaime is unmatched except for a scant few.

Absolutely. Jaime Is simply one of best (of the best).

Also he Is an incredibile character .
After he lost his hand, he had a splendind character development. However, I wonder if somehow Martin will make Jaime able to fight again, maybe during the final war.

Anyway, the character development was top notch so It was more than worthy.
