All valid points, and not sure you addressed this in an earlier post but Garp isn't punished for his son who is the most wanted man in the world and well.. Luffy, what's your take on that?

Figarland family are celestial dragons, probably means they get a "royal pardon"
You could be right, but Garp became the Marine Hero 38 years ago, and it protected him for his actions for years

Could that extend to Dragon and Luffy? No idea, we'll have to see. Dragon was only 17 by the time God Valley happened, and he was mentioned to be a former marine, so I assume by that point he didnt defect until his early 20's.

Goddamn RIP these VAs lmao

The upper 4 are Luffy's main rivals for the One Piece, which Oda considers "the most exciting part of the story".

The lower row however is the one with the main players in the final war, which has been built up as THE climax of the story for a whole now (stopping Imu's gigantic genocide flood and his 800 year reign of terror).
Blaming 800 years to only Imu wouldn't be accurate.

Imu or not, Celestials would act same. Holy Knights would act same, they would still use slaves.

You think Imu is personally ordering them to buy more slaves?

We literally see Celestials cheering for Garling when he kills a good Celestial, they are not doing it based on orders, slavery is their part of their culture now and that they genuinely want slavery and they want hunting contest on other human beings.

Imu is the guy who takes the political decisions and appoints 5 Elders but Celestials under them would still make people slaves for 800 years without Imu as well.

Oda is applying the medieval era to One Piece, medieval era is where slavery existed in different continents even in different cultures, all different countries at some point used slavery system, if you think slavery wouldn't exist in One Piece world if Imu wasn't the king you are too naive.

Biggest dilemma Zoro fans have ever faced right now possibly.

Continue to stay on the sinking ship that is Mihawk and his captain Buggy, especially with his piling anti-feats and declining relevance?

Or move over to wanking the new swordsman in town, Figarland Garling...But that would be wanking Shanks...Their enemy....Then there is off course Gandhi, looks cool and edgy....But got embarrassed by Sanji, their arch-enemy....There's off course the overarching threat of Imu being able to neg diff both.....So many options for Zoro fans right now....Could this lead to a civil war in the Zoro fandom and the wider sword fandom as a whole? Mihawk V Gandhi V Figarland.....:crazwhat::crazwhat::crazwhat::crazwhat::crazwhat::crazwhat::crazwhat::crazwhat:

Sengoku did joke that Garp would pay for his family crimes if it wasn't for him being a hero

BB will always be the final villain
Blackbeard's chances as the final villain are 100 times better than those of Imu.
But I don't think it is him either.

I raise you Yvach taking the Elite Quincies powers away from them like they were ants, to him. He was final villain and they were final opponents for the MCs.

This is a bad take. Just because Imu can do it doesnt mean everyone can.
More of a reason for Oda not to do the same and do something new.
If Elders are this unimportant and replaceable, they hold no weight to be final fights for anyone.
Even those who had some involvement with them, like Bonney and Kuma, arent gifted a payback fight...
Imu's downfall is just the beginning of the actual PK race.

If anything this is even MORE of an indication that Imu is the final Villain with Garling also playing a very important part.

Not that it wasn't abundantly clear for a while now...
Every chapter is convincing me otherwise, Larry...
Blackbeard's fate is to succeed where Rocks failed, to take the world from Imu, if it wasn't clear after Augur's line.
The one who profited the most from Paramount War was Blackbeard, he will do the same in this future war against WG.
As Oda said, "OP is about overcoming the Emperors" and "OP ends when the treasure is found".

Gotta love how Lolda had Saturn use his head exploding on a ally and he didn't do that shit while he was getting stalled by the weaklings
We know Oda won't have his protagonists die like this but at least prior to this chapter you could rationalize that this power was either retconned away or only worked on complete fodders , and while I doubt Doberman is that much after the abysmal portrayal of VAs I doubt he's weaker than freakin Usopp lmao

That eye thing was extremely effective on Sanji. I doubt most of the Straw Hats who were protecting Robin would survive 1, much less two shots of that move. Of course Oda wouldn't kill any Straw Hat in such a fashion, which is why Saturn never resorted to using any of his special abilities on them.
