It is said by holy scholars that you need a certain level of "well-being" to be "western".

Anyway, western values or culture isn't christian if this is what you have in mind. It's secularism and democracy.

Secularism and Democracy certainly are not what western values are based of. The founding pillars of werstern civilization are Roman Law and Judaic-Christian religion. By "Well-being" they certainly mean $$$$$$$. The poor guys can't be western.
