Powers & Abilities Zoro does not have CoC

#81
Zoro has CoC. He is just an unconfirmed CoC user because the world doesn't know he's a CoC user. Not even the Straw Hats knows he's a CoC user.

Knowing Oda he's saving Zoro CoC reveal for some big event or scene that will shock the world. The marines/world government will lose their mind because the Straw Hats have two CoC users.

Cant believe people think this unironically
This is more logical conclusion than believing Zoro has CoC which is not even confirmed.

Zoro hasnt been able to CoC once after Wano. Why is that the case if he has CoC?

Once Zoro left Wano, he somehow has been unable to use it and that's because now the situations arent favoring him anymore

Nah. This is simply vivre card nonsense. Zoro K.o.ed fodder beast pirates. Vivre cards have been proven wrong before.
That was BM using CoC.
Check chapter 1036, BM was fighting at the same time as Zoro vs King. She was using CoC so when the BPs around Zoro got knocked out by it King confused it for Zoro's CoC

how do we even know Zoro has CoA?

he could just be painting his blades black offscreen whenever he "uses it" and his opponents just feel so bad they pretend he has it.

In any event, I would prefer Zoro to have it.

That said, I don't think Oda has done a good job as telling us why he should. The cool factor is undeniable, and there's that symmetry of other legendary pirate captains having crew members with CoC, but when it comes to Zoro specifically, I don't think what defines him as a conqueror is clear. Because I don't think it's his ambition.

Zoro's desire to be the strongest swordsman in the world has nothing to do with him wanting to conquer anyone or anything.

Not too wax too poetically but I think what all the known conquerors have in common is not merely ambition, competitiveness or drive - but an innate desire to live life completely on their own terms, however unreasonable or downright delusional, thereby in essence conquering life itself.

If that sounds crazy, I ask you which of them isn't a little crazy? I've complained about there being too many people with CoC, but I could not deny that, at least, perceived requirement is met by Garp and Don Chinjao among others.

I think Zoro's desire to conquer is not something one has to overthink. He lost his best friend to death. Now he will conquer the underworld itself if it means to protect those he cares about. King of Hell and Asura should imo be exstremely power CoC moves on par with Kaidou's attack power, i.e. capable of killing him.

I went off on a tangent there, but the bottom line is that though I can accept Zoro may canonically not have CoC (doesn't bar him from unlocking it still), I definitely think he should.

I think you're very optimistic about it,i don't see why the world would be shockrd by a pirate crew having 2 coc user,it's not really unprecedented.
The BM pirates,a regular emperor crew have 2 conquerors and no one bats an eye.

I personally don't take vivre cards as very important,

Katakuri is not important.

Zoro and Mihawk don't have CoC, look how his clone don't have it either @L57

S-Snake doesn't have CoC but Boa does so not a good argument.

I just want to add I think the lightning scaling is 100% pointless with it being a massive reason I generally all discussions around it

All infusing your attacks with conquerors does is simply amplify/strengthen it. Strong concentrations of armament having lightning so obviously conquerors is going make the lightning from the armament stronger when that’s what it’s directly enhancing

Whether someone is or isn’t using conquerors I just think lightning scaling is overall just annoying. Could it in some cases imply conquerors? Yeah sure but not in all cases

Plus in zoro’s case he deadass has a sword that through mastering it help amplify his armament directly. So it makes sense that in of itself would make the lighting look bigger as well

The best indication he had it is when he very much seemingly knocked out the beast pirate fodder. That should be enough to confirm he has it. Oda going out of his way not to tho is definitely weird and does add doubt to something previously wouldn’t have unless you’re @Rootbeer

Vivre card like teaser his CoC as if it's still unrevealed in the manga itself...
I don't know if this is due to Oda's intentions or if it's just speculation so Vivre Card doesn't look completely useless

Anyway in the Manga his CoC is clearly revealed and there was a setup for him long before that so there's no way he really didn't have CoC
