You don't think that the constant slander and these so-called 'cautionary tales' by the media, such as this and this (and more), combined with a presidency marked by lockdowns, 'forced' vaccinations, sharp spikes in the price of everything (especially rent and gas), and constant reminders of two ongoing wars (the war in Ukraine and the Israel/Palestine conflict), have had an impact?
The US also had to witness Biden fumbling in a presidential debate to the point where Trump ran circles around him. As if the president of the supposed "greatest country in the world" being older than someone's grandfather suffering the end stages of dementia is something to be proud of. The clip of Biden falling down the airplane stairs, which was barely covered by the media as something insignificant only made him that much less fit to be the president of the United States.

Personally, the constant mistreatment of people that supposedly lean conservative (or Trump supporter) all the while having anyone that lean democrat (Biden supporter), far left, or the lgbt+ receive no pushback for some of their more questionable actions that warranted it made me understand that if you weren't in the far left/democrat/lgbtq online, you and the others who browse the fringes of the internet were pretty much on your own.

I just remember too, if you disagreed with the democrats about Palestine and protested it, many people were beat up for it and arrested, so not much of a left-wing party, but more left wing than the republicans,
