It's just that overall, your posts comes off as pro-Israel at a glance.


Bottom line is that Israel was trying to violently occupy Palestine for over a century which created many resistance groups, which also increased in violence. Then Hamas bombed Israel which accurately marked them terrorists, and obviously Israel would strike back harder with all the funding and support from the west. History didn't start Oct 7th.

You could say that there are ethical and non ethical people, but even then it would essentialize a person's actions to their entire persona which is simplistic things to do. We are complex, we have contradictions and we are not always ethical or good.

At worse, you could say that a person is more likely to do bad or bad ethical things than good or good ethical things.

Last time and after that I'm ending this discussion since it goes nowhere:

Violence is usually associated with a negative behavior. Yet, people uses violence in legitimized ways all the time. For example, some use violence to fight oppression and it's is the right thing to do because it is the ETHICAL thing to do.

It's the same with labelling. Labels are usually a bad thing, because they tend to essentialize a person to their actions. But it becomes the ETHICAL and thus RIGHT thing to do when this labelling is used to fight oppression. Simply because it's one of the most efficient ways to protect people, bring awareness, defend ourselves and attack oppressors.

The world is complex mate. If you look at it through a moral lens, you are not gonna understand it. Look at it under an ethical lens. By that I mean that you need to understand the context of action before you judge them.

Now, either you start to listen or we move on.
