Oda loves foreshadowing certain strong characters and let them slow brew through arcs and real life years.
He doesn't time to let a new one slow brew for decades like he did with Shanks, Mihawk, Kuma, etc, but Shanks twin, who was foreshadowed as a mystery silhouette all this time, falling in this arc, without Shanks involved, is definitely too soon and uncooked.
Shanks could always be involved at some point but we saw him sail away right before this all started.

Shanks got strong because he was on a crew with Roger lmfao. The entire thing about one piece is that the family you find can be more influential on you then your blood family. Shanks, like Roger is someone people give a shit about. No one in the manga gives a shit about a single holy knight ever. Fisher Tiger walks into their island fearlessly frees thousands of slaves and leaves and has a good night of sleep on his ship knowing the holy knights will not do shit ever except beg for back up
Things are coming together I guess:
- Shamrock is definitely summoning the rest of the God Knights of their endgoal is to make Elbaf submit to the WG
- Since its not Shanks, Shamrock and his God Knights can absolutely lose this arc
- The mystery person on Elbaf if 99% likely to be Scopper, because he can explain Shanks origins to Luffy and how Shanks and Shamrock exist separately being twins to lead different lives.
- Finally I still definitely think Dragon and at least several of the RA leaders need to come through if not to better give context to God Knights and give the RA an arc before the endgame. Luffy should meet his father finally. Plus Kuma and VP are here, so realistically we'll get dialogue with them together.
- Loki is going to be an ally, probably will get a good fight with a high level God Knight.
- I dont full expect Shamrock to be solely a swordsman, considering Gunko has DF powers and every Gorosei is some sort of demon so he'll have one or the other I suppose.
How I currently see it. Maybe more than God Knights come like CP0 or other WG employees we havent seen yet.
