Stephen Paul isn't the "only official translator", he's just the guy paid to translate One Piece into English. Other translators equally official are paid to translate One Piece into their respective languages.

This isn't the first time I've read in this forum about Stephen Paul being THE official translator and it just sounds like people ignorant enough to only speak English believing English is THE world outside Japanese.

Again, for anybody fluent in more than English, Stephen Paul is just one guy. It's not like Oda personally chose that individual to share his gospel abroad.
