Strength rules everything, the weak follow the strong(the only exception is Luffy and Zoro).
That's why conqueror Chinjao follows the Don who has surpassed his strength and immediately named him the leader of Happo navy.
Never said Doffy and Hancock would be part of his crew but even if they were, they would obey to the strongest.
No, Zoro fans dont actually want Mihawk with some super duper crew, the guy will remain a loner but it's fun to tease people who are afraid of Mihawk becoming a Yonko the moment he gathers a crew.

More likely where will the marines seek protection from Mihawk lol hope he doesn't come ringing for an explanation to Marijoa
Unless the marines send a couple of admirals or maybe this SSG weapon to hype it we will have simply Mihawk leaving the island without many problems and be safe (and admirals are busy with other more immediate stuff while the SSG, who knows, could work). He will not go to help Shanks unless he is really in deep ship, something like BM/Kaido about to annhilate him and his crew, I don't think Oda will simply make him go help Perona like a baby sitter (afterall he is one of OP legendary characters along with Shanks and WB at the very least). Maybe this is all a device in order to make him go to Wano amd so have a war that doesn't lose face in front of Marineford by having a top tier like Mihawk in it again.

The marines took down an undisputed golden age top tier (Shiki) without much problem. One admiral is enough to take out Mihawk within a couple of hours. And admiral and one of the stronger VAs probably kills Mihawk in under an hour

Yall do realize 1 admiral aka a top tier could potentially be enough to capture mihawk right? 1 top tier with some decent support and its over
Theres also the thing replacing mihawk that could make it easier to capture him
The marines can definitely have more than enough power to capture a single top tier

He is not revolutionary material. Everyone in the revos is actively working towards changing how the world is run. Mihawk has spent huge chunk of his life supporting the very organization that the revos stand against. Not everything is about power levels. They probably wouldn't accept his application.
