In the next panel Zoro only has 2 swords and the panel after they crash both swords are coated.

Oda doesn't really care, the point he's making is that base Zoro=G5 and this is really offensive for some people "b-but bajrang gun, but sky split, King is weaker than base Luffy and Zoro almost died against him, Zoro only fights fodders, Zoro and Lanji had that hunting game 15 years ago!"
If this was true then Oda wouldn't need to hold Zoro back every single arc and we would've probably be done with OP after seeing Zoro's strongest attack give Luffy an Ouch.
