They always implied that Mingo has some hidden ability to slow down freezing that was never shown or hinted towards. Either his DF or CoC was used, both very specific counters. Either those 2 so they made up a new power just for Mingo.

It's not that deep. First of all, I don't think it was his string fruit. Strings don't randomly allow him to break out of ice. It most likely was CoC, given how the same CoC used by a barely conscious Doffy crushed a part of the mountain. Now I don't know why you would call that "very specific counter". It's already established that CoC users are bigger fish as compared to non CoC users, that's why the fight for the throne is exclusively decided among the conquerors.

So someone who has great control over his CoC, is by default higher caliber than someone like Cracker or Jozu.

Old Chinjao isn't a bigger fish compared to King. Having CoC isn't the end all be all. Mingo's "CoC prowess" didn't allow him to be better than Boundman unlike Cracker.

Yes Jinbe specifically had to run because he knew he was no match for Akainu, something that Akainu himself told us.
Kuzan would only be stomped because Primebeard has the best counter to his fruit, if he fought someone equal to Primebeard like Garp or Roger he'd push them to a high diff or so.
A Warlord that isn't Mihawk would get neg diffed by them.
That's the difference.

Yes, they all get neg diffed, that's why Sengoku made the Warlords their centerpiece vs. WB while the fate of MF was at stake, and Akainu is crying over losing the manpower of the Warlords.

I wonder why the WG went through all the trouble to clone them when they're all fodder.

Ice ball basically encapsulates people in a chunk of ice, which is not the same as ice time freezing someone from the inside out. Whitebeard being frozen to the core wouldn't be nullified by the Gura power. In fact we know, being frozen from the inside out makes you fragile to the Gura power.

After Kuzan used ice capsule on Saul, he doesn't throw projectile ice, but slowly walks towards him

Think about it, projectile ice freezes your exterior, if you're left stranding for a while then you'll eventually be frozen to the core
However, when freezing on contact, Kuzan is instantly turning your body to an ice popsicle


You drifted too far from the discussion, Doflamingo could be YC1+ for all I care but this whole imaginary W of how Doflamingo escaped getting freezed needs to be discussed. He's not fodder as to get murked by casual flash freeze, but you can't compare this with Jozu and the goofy BBPs commanders. Even though it's a casual meme scene, we have to look at things objectively, these guys were directly frozen by Kuzan

It's still too early to judge but we will be looking at some next level powercreep. Van Auger for example will fight/ defeat Yassop, someone like him should fare pretty well against YC1 Doffy

I don't know if you know this but the Warlords aren't the part of the balance of powers that are meant to fight the Yonko themselves. There's 4 Admirals and 4 Emperors for a reason.
They're meant to handle their crews, which is why it's totally fine if they get destroyed by a top tier as most of them aren't even going to be fighting top tiers.

I just commented on how yonko fans have double standards and ignore the fact that the ice used against Whitebeard and Garp was projectile, so they use it to downplay Kuzan's devil fruit against top tiers, when in fact even a magma admiral suffered permanent scars when Kuzan actually used his devil fruit.
