Since the timeskip started we’ve just been in the longest training arc of all time. However, even that training arc was capped off with Nika awakening as the most important power up despite all the haki boosts Luffy got.
Which again aligns with my argument of "Only the very strongest and most important fruits will get highlighted as much as, if not more than, Haki."
My argument was never that Haki is above fruits in general, but that it's been highlighted more than most fruits have been.

I mean I don’t think any of them were told it was Imu
They should at least know there is some immortal being that survived combined attack of Roger, Garp, Xebec, Kaido, BM and Whitebeard.
They should at least know same being suddenly took over Xebec's body that lead to his death
But all of them never talk about it during earlier appearances

If that were the case the protagonists would all be advancing their haki to grow stronger. But most of them don’t even know haki.

Haki is just one of the dozen power boosts in the verse; but when oda is going for lore and story importance, haki just has never been it. Even in the end, what do you think will be more important, the peak and origins of DFs or the peak and origins of Haki?

Maybe their memories got erased?
It doesn't make sense how Whitebeard: both in his pre TS appearances and Oden flashback, Big Mom: in WCI and Wano, Kaido in Wano, Garp in all of his appearances, Rayleigh in Sabaody; none of them ever talked or at least hinted about Imu's existence.
They only talked about One Piece the treasure but nobody seemed to remember how there was this supposed God Tier appearing in God Valley.
It's just to not spoil it to us viewers. Also, Rayleigh told Robin he can tell her everything he knows about the world.

Bet on BB as FV before it's too late for you, Mr Paper
No lol. Its the same concept as villains like Doflamingo, Big Mom and Kaido all believing they could/would be Pirate King before they all lost. Blackbeard has a bit more depth in his history and Im sure he'll be tied to the end of the series, but I highly doubt hes the last fight.

Hes human, is relegated to powers of devil fruit, and has a goal that involves unseating the current power of the world, which clearly requires getting One Piece according to Roger.

So unless we are insinuating Oda will not let Luffy become PK, I have absolutely no reason to believe BB is the FV, especially not after this chapter

We just saw the strongest haki users of the old era doing NOTHING to the big boss

Yes and the strongest protagonists are the ones that DO know Haki.
I already said DFs will end up being more important, but that's not because they're more important in general. It's just that the real busted fruits like the Nika fruit are objectively better than Haki

CoC: Color of Clowns

Whacky Arm Waving Inflatable Imu-chan
It makes sense that Kaido, Newgate and Linlin didn't fight DR Xebec. Garp and Roger didn’t shared affinity towards him

But how will they counter DR Xebec's immortality?

Will Gaban's statement be explained now? I mean Runleigh just left, he is the only CoC user there not including Roger
I'm telling ya'll there's Positive and Negative Haki. You can use Armament to defend, and attack. You can use Observation to sense, or negate your opponent's senses/negate your own presence.

You can use Supreme King to Liberate, and to Conquer.

I think Imu's immortality is different from the Gorosei/God's Knights, though.

I think we have four tiers so far:

1. Imu, full Abyss
2. Gorosei, good amount of Abyss, makes it very hard to knock them out
3. God's Knights, still a good amount, but a good less than the Gorosei.
4. Domi Reversi soldiers: very little Abyss, use their own lifespans as fuel, unlike the other 3.
