There are friends of each of the straw hat members that are alive which are: Johnny and Yosaku, Genzo, three kids in Syrup village, Zeff, Dr. Kureha, Saul, Iceburg, Laboon, and Koala. Most of these characters are included in flashbacks of the straw hat members.
Vivi mentioned her friend which is Koza, which we can add to the list. Nobody included in Yamato's flashback is living in the present, but Fuga is a friend of hers.
Loki mentioned having a friend named Shaggy, who is still alive. Luffy invited Loki himself, but he hasn't met Shaggy.
That means, Shaggy is friends with Loki, it can work in either way. If Loki dies, then Loki nor Shaggy is going to join.
Not a lot of villains call other characters their friends. Vivi, Yamato, and Loki/Shaggy are best as next.
