well zoro might just give the publicity for killing kaido on luffy's name. Luffy is the puppet captain of the SHP so he should be the one recognized to beat the yonkou, while zoro (the real captain of strawhat) should remain in shadow for his yonkou feat.

I think nobody is going anywhere yet, Big Mom wants a word with Luffy too.
Also, seems like Luffy asked the samurai to take care of things since they are the ones answering, not the Strawhats.
