He didnt "reign" anything after taking the title that he wasnt "reigning" before it.
Literally, nothing changed except giving himself a title he made up.

Strength to back up what? Being taken by your navigator to Raftel or having Oden to read PGs for you?
Which of those is strength backing up? Where is this PK being strength achievement coming from?
If you dont have the strength to back it up, someone will come along and snatch the precious title away from you?

Considering that Luffy isnt stronger than most of people he has beaten in NW and even in pre-TS, thinking that the final villain puts Luffy into his shadow is common sense. Too many people have fallen because of favorable circumstances, not because Luffy was stronger.

Luffy can become pirate king and be weaker yes.He can't be truly free however ,unless he is the strongest. That is why he will face the WG the oppressor of the world after learning the truth ,to be become truly free ..
End of series Luffy will be the strongest in the verse.

Luffy literally just wants to go on an adventure and find One Piece, not hold a position of authority lmao?
Who has ever held the title of PK? To become PK you have to journey grand line and get One Piece, once Luffy has done it thats it.

You know that the same Roger who defeated the Rocks spent 12 years right after the God Valley incident doing nothing in Lodestar without the help of Oden? The fact that the knowledge of the Kozuki and their ability to decrypt Poneglyphs is what allowed Roger to become a Pirate King, proves that strength is only one of the many requirements to become a Pirate King.

If Roger didn't recruit Oden he wouldn't have reached Laugh Tale. If Roger didn't team up with Marines he wouldn't have beaten Rocks. For Oda, collecting allies seems to be a far more important trait for a PK than individual strength, which is being highlighted with Luffy.

But never tried to go there to get one when he knew he needed someone from there to help him.

I think he probably won't be the n1 in the verse
that would be either Imu or blackbeard.

I could honestly see him tag teaming blackbeard with help from smoker or Koby, if he's strong enough. Blackbeard is supposed to parallel Xebec so I think Luffy might get a marine's help to beat him.

he is nothing more than first mate which all Pirate captains have, WB had Oden/Marco, Roger Had Rayleigh....Luffy always takes on Bosses cause he knows its his responsibility and Crew lets him fight bosses exactly for that reason and they believe in him and his responsibility to take care of biggest obstacle among opponents... lots of examples, VS Doffy, VS Moriah, VS Lucci....

It’s literally not. Naruto is not the strongest. Ichigo is not the strongest. Goku is not the strongest. I could go on. But these are the shows closest to One Piece, none of them i clude the mc being the number one.
